What An Incredible Fluke XXXII!

On Sunday morning (to suit the Asian betting markets of course), Levante met Atlético Madrid.

El Rojiblanco were already running on empty following their Europa League assertions of just two and a half days earlier in Hannover when they were 'welcomed' by Iglesias Villaneva, the match referee.

During the mis-match, Atlético committed 13 fouls, below the average in La Liga, yet were greeted with 7 yellow cards and a sending off.
Two of the bookings (Salvio and Mario Suarez) resulted in a ban as, obviously, did the sending off of Miranda.

This means that Atlético will be short of three key players for the match tonight against Real Madrid.

The manipulations in favour of Mourinho's men don't stop there however.

Yesterday it was announced that Undiano Mallenco will be reffing El Clásico at the Camp Nou on April 21st.
Barcelona are already at a major disadvantage in that their two Champions League Semi Finals are just three days from the event while Franco's men have two four-day gaps but the selection of Mallenco is Fergusonesque in its direness.

Only two match officials are less supportive to Barca and none are more favourable to Real!

What a weird fluke!
