What An Incredible Fluke XLI!

Reading are promoted.
Leafy Berkshire town to bring greater variety to the Premier League.

Reading are rumoured to be owned by Russian 'businessman' Boris Zingarevich although his son Anton is the public face - this is the identical structure to Portsmouth when Gaydamak Senior and Junior orchestrated the asset stripping of a proud football club.

John Madejski referred to "the Zingarevich family" in his promotion euphoria...

The website 'Russian Mafia' details Boris Zingarevich and his methods of doing business.
See the collection of newspaper articles detailing alleged murders and other behaviouralisms that should not be welcome in the Premier League at http://www.rumafia.com/person.php?id=204

Thames Sport Investment (TSI) is the company behind Reading's promotion.
As Matt Scott says in the Telegraph: "TSI is not a company or limited-liability partnership incorporated in the UK, making inquiries less straightforward...Chris Samuelson, who has so far been the public face of TSI, is a director of Mutual Trust SA, a financial-services firm based in the Swiss canton of Vaud specialising in incorporating discreet investment vehicles in offshore jurisdictions."

Richard Scudamore needs to pretend that we have a fit and proper persons ruling.

He has spoken: ""All of a sudden Reading came through in the last three or four months - the run they've been on has been brilliant and they've done it with a couple of matches to spare, which is fantastic."

As long as they have money, they will be welcome into Scudamore's Betting Parlour, no matter what the source of the money or the manner of its secretion.

Still.
A Berkshire town...
... and a St Petersburg mafia man.

What a weird fluke!
