Great to see that Liverpool FC are complaining about "sporting integrity being undermined" when it is only in recent times that the club name has been changed from Livarpool to Liverpool.
Aside from the nonsense of malfunctioning officials England and Cook being in the United Arab Emirates less than 48 hours prior to the biggest game of the Premier League weekend, no mention has been made in the media of the fact that elite (sic) referee Michael Oliver was helicoptered in as 4th Official prior to kick off (replacing Harrington).
It is Oliver who should have intervened to correct the misunderstanding between VAR Official England and referee Hooper. But Oliver is an elite official so can't be stood down.
Howard Webb's intriguing desire to have PGMOL match officials influencing matches in other territories is a double negative whammy - the events in UAE, Saudi and Japan cannot be refereed properly due to language difficulties and the process is leading to underperformance by match officials in the Premier League games for which they are employed to officiate.
And that's before we even think of delving into the issues of suspicious betting patterns in other leagues when certain elite PGMOL referees are involved.
Additionally, life on the planet is being destroyed by climate catastrophe so why are PGMOL referees flying here and there corrupting officiating games around the world?
Liverpool are demanding that the recording of the match officials during Spurs game be handed over for perusal whereas anybody interested in integrity in the game should be demanding that we can hear how all VAR decisions are reached in every game.
While in the media, we have Liverpool-controlled former referee Mike Dean telling viewers his opinions on Sky Sports - the shits truly rise to the surface in English football.
Webb has form going back to his oversight of referee selection during Leicester City's fake title in 2015/16 and this weekend saw 6 changes of official from the original appointments.
Last year in both Serie A and La Liga, there was only one alteration each in the entire season!!
A further issue relating to the PGMOL is the amount of injury time.
What could have been an excellent improvement to the game is instead turning into yet another manipulation input.
Extra injury time for time wasting only functions with integrity if applied equally across all games and for all teams...
... otherwise it is just another ruse to put inappropriate powers into the hands of match officials (and those who corrupt puppet their behaviours).
At best this rule change is arbitrary...
... at worse it is corrupted something else.

... imagine how much focus would be on the incompetent Erik Ten Heisenberg if the rogue officiating of the Red Devils' games versus Wolves and Forest were removed from their points total.
The team selection is hopeless, the summer signings disastrous, the insider trading overwhelming and the 73,428 people who congregated in Old Trafford on Saturday deserve an explanation as to why Ten Heisenberg keeps making such strategic corruptions errors in games.
