The Guardian's attempt to pervert reality on behalf of an Organised Crime Group (OCG) is as dispiriting as it is unsurprising.
The manner in which the VAR error in Spurs versus Liverpool has been distorted across the newspaper is a clear sign of a captured media.
The Guardian are trying to remove VAR from the Premier League.
To recap.
The match officials on the field of play made the error on Luis Diaz's goal.
This error was then allowed to become consolidated through a lack of professionalism at Stockley Park and a failure to communicate between the ground and VAR headquarters.
The problem existed in both locations.
All officials were complicit.
Onana's foul versus Wolves was also a failure of both on field officials and VAR as was Man City's 'goal' versus Fulham.
Three points.
Firstly, why didn't Michael Oliver intervene at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as he was 4th Official and was aware of the problem?
Secondly, why wasn't Michael Oliver involved in the transcript released by PGMOL?
Thirdly, why focus on VAR not overturning referee errors incorrectly when VAR successfully corrects most errors made at the EPL grounds?
The primary OCG undermining English football were happy with VAR when Neil Swarbrick was Head of VAR until the end of last season but, following his sacking by Howard Webb, the strategy has changed.
But the reality is - VAR works...
... the PGMOL doesn't.
It is worth adding that we have been shown evidences demonstrating that the PGMOL's failings last weekend have had a potential impact for this current round of games as planned manipulations for the round must be readdressed in the light of the happenings last Saturday.
And, if you need proof that it is the English match officials who are the problem rather than VAR, check out Anthony Taylor (referee) and Stuart Attwell (VAR) and their destruction of integrity in the Porto versus Barcelona Champions League game this week.
We knew of these manipulations pre-match.
They were planned.
Meanwhile, captured entity Gareth Southgate (Harry Halfwit) states: "I do not like VAR. We should accept referee's decisions".
And Ange Postecoglou calls for VAR to be scrapped too (see below).
Idiots.
Only the OCGs want the power concentrated in fewer hands.
Power corrupts.
Concentrated power corrupts more efficiently and profitably.
