Like a cancer, bookmakers exponentially spread death to all cells in an entity.
As soon as you attach a market to a sport, the game is up.
The dark pools, underground markets and public markets are the initial strata of illegality.
Then shirt sponsorship, ground advertising and media commercials are layered on top.
The systemic corruption then spreads to the commentators, the summarisers and the mainstream media.
Last week has seen a kerfuffle as Ian Wright ($) has announced that he will cease providing disinformation on Match Of The Day ($) at the conclusion of this season.
Most Arsenal fans gave up on Wright as a beacon of integrity a long time ago but the Guardian ($), as is their wont, are suggesting that some fucking tube line in London should be named after Mr Wright.
Wright is employed by Gibraltar bookmaker 888 Sport ($).
888 was set up by four Israeli's in 1997 and has owned William Hill ($) since last year.
Three months prior to the William Hill deal, 888 were fined £9.4 million by the Gambling Commission over money laundering.
So.
Wright is wrong to associate with 888.
But this is just the tip of the iceberg of bookmakers controlling those who appear on our screens and in our other media.
Aside from the likes of Ferdinand ($), Crouch ($), Savage ($) who lie on behalf of their paymasters, there are other gutter level operators in the game too.
So, Jonathan Wilson ($) of the Guardian is puppeted by Malta-based matchfixers Unibet ($).
And, Sam Matterface ($) was appointed as ITV's primary football commentator which established a two prong attack on integrity.
Firstly, Matterface is a shit who operates on behalf of Bet365 ($).
Secondly, Clive Tyldesley who he replaced is a legitimate commentator who moved onto Talksport ($) after being sacked by ITV for not being corrupt.
Tyldesley felt uncomfortable with having to promote gambling products on Talksport and resigned to work with Gamcare.
Front of shirt bookmaker logos are only 7% of the issue with the promotion of gambling entities during Premier League games. The commercials and the pitchside hoardings are far more impactful.
As is the role of Match Of The Day.
The angles selected for replays of goals and major incidents are chosen based upon the inclusion of bookie adverts in the field of vision (Messi clients should check Kerkyra 2.0 for transcripts relating to this corrupted editing at MOTD).
Sometimes this results in ridiculous editing where potential offside footage is sublimated beneath and bizarre set of frames showing advertisements on the pitchside adverts - check out West Ham United v Manchester United ($) and the Betway ($)adverts that were seemingly more important than the football itself.
Transcripts reveal that the bookies are paying a certain individual for this control of MOTD output.
If bookmakers were regulated and allowed winning accounts then this bombardment of addiction products would be less offensive.
But.
As it stands, the UK state broadcaster is working alongside mafia-linked entities to fleece the viewers in return for kickbacks and privileged insights.
When Hodgson ($) finally fucks off at the end of this season, they should name something after him too.
Say.
A particular form of suicide relating to gambling debts: "After building up £20,000 worth of gambling debts, this bettor Hodgsoned himself from the motorway bridge into the oncoming traffic. He died instantly".
