Say No To Competition Sizes That Promote Matchfixing

Say No To Competition Sizes That Promote Matchfixing

Georgia v Czech Republic.

For the purposes of integrity, competitions should have 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512... teams.

If there are more than any of these numbers then there should be preliminary rounds or a preliminary competition to achieve the agreed number of qualifiers.

So many of the Euro 2024 teams are uninspiring because, in reality, they shouldn't be in the Finals.
16 teams is enough - Scotland, Georgia, Ukraine, Poland, Albania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic have amassed 10 points in 14 games.

But the bookies, insider traders and media want more games, as does UEFA.
It's peculiar how the extension of tournaments under the control of organised crime is a Good Thing while the inevitable extension of FIFA's Club World Cup is portrayed as a threat to footballers' health, the Women's Game, the Future of the Great Barrier Reef...
... a Bad Thing.

The dualities exhibited by a captured media are their downfall.
Some of the people some of the time...

Have no idea who is going to win this football match but I know a referee who does.
