What An Incredible Fluke X!
David Moyes: "It was a better situation 10 years ago. Back then, I looked abroad at the way agents had control of the players, and in some cases the clubs, and you thought that couldn't happen in Britain. You thought the chairmen of clubs wouldn't be daft enough for agents to be doing the deals, or telling them what deals they should be doing. That seems to be happening now in some cases, and it seems players are more easily controlled by agents instead of doing what's right for their own game. That's a change for the worse."
Kenny Moyes, David's brother, is an agent.
He represents Charlie Adam.
Kenny Moyes chaotically tried and failed to orchestrate a move for the Blackpool captain during the 2011 January transfer window, and thereafter Adam was a shadow of his former self (check the OPTA stats) and Blackpool were effectively relegated because of Kenny Moyes.
"... and it seems players are more easily controlled by their agents instead of doing what's right for their own game."
Still.
David, with his views on agents, having a brother who is an agent.
What a weird fluke!
