At least we now know how seriously the footballing authorities in England take corruption in match outcomes.
When over 90% of Premier League matches are affected by rogue operators - players, match officials, agents, management, hyper-owners, the institutions and, of course, the omnipresent bookmaking fraternity - we should hardly be comforted by the FA taking a stance against the betting shenanigans in last year's match between Bury and Accrington Stanley in League 2.
