Let's look at the nations that are possessed.
The Czech Republic had 15 players represented by three linked agents - they were eliminated in the group stage amassing a huge point against Georgia.
Portugal have 18 players under the Gestifute banner. Having scraped past the Czechs in game one, they have failed to score in 223 minutes against the collective might of Slovenia and Georgia.
Scotland had 11 players in the umbra of Colquhoun corruption matrix and several others in the penumbra and exited with one point and three shots on target in 3 games.
And then there is Tanland with 15 SWUC clients. This is obviously a special case as institutional and referee corruption comes to the aid of an inexperienced and overrated squad.
These agent vice-like structures destroy careers of players outside the loop and, as we are demonstrating today with Colquhoun's influence over Austria and Netherlands, it produces matchfixing opportunities and the potential for monetising these corruptions via insider trading in the betting markets.
