If football agents had nothing to hide surely they would be willing to accept real regulation and a public disclosure of their underground activities.
Instead what you get is a variety of different mobile phones, a squad of shared-ownership vehicles, cash inducements being offered without invoice or receipt, conversations about tables and brown envelopes and the inevitable private mansions, dodgy lawyers and offshore bank accounts.
Panorama's exposé was nothing compared to how widespread these illegal practices spread throughout the sport.
Insider trading isn't intelligent or clever.
It is an abuse of the brilliant game of football for those with an addiction to cash.
