The Meaning Of Mark Clattenburg's Hair Implant #

So, Mark Clattenburg is a narcissist as well as antisocial.
We had already gathered as much.

Watching Arsenal versus Real Madrid in the Emirates Trophy, something felt not-quite-right.
Something was missing from Clattenburg's officiating.
Then he gave Arsenal one of his more generous penalties and we suddenly realised...
The bald patch had disappeared!
How sneaky.
In the close season too.

Rated the worst official in Football Is Fixed's Bum Ref Index for 2007/08 (a pithy assessment of the quality of the PGMOB referees - the full ratings will be provided in a future post), Clattenburg is evidently going in for disguise.
He'll be blacking up next.

Last season, Steve Coppell described Clattenburg as "a terror".
We would describe him as a highly problematic official.
In 2006/07, Clattenburg was rated the best referee in our Bum Ref Index.
The inversion in one season from Best to Worst is always worthy of some analytical focus in any market place.
Just as, for example, the demises of Leeds United, Celta Vigo or Kaiserslautern deserve attention, so does Clattenburg's regression from a solid respectable match official to something altogether less pleasing on both an ######### and an aesthetic level.

It is little wonder that the man's hair is falling out.
He has probably gone grey too.
It is our assessment that Clattenburg is out of his depth.
Suburban man is mixing with some very powerful operators, he should remain aware of his position in this hierarchy of greed.

One very obvious inappropriate association, though, by no means the only one, is the Terror's link with the State Terrorist, ###################.

* The remainder of this post details the association between ########### and Clattenburg, ###########'s current legal travails, the problematic nature of the relationship between the PGMOB officials and UEFA, referee-rigged friendly matches, proprietary trading by match officials, and a description of the template that allows the corrupting of Premiership matches from a behavioural perspective.

Unfortunately, these treats are for subscribers only, as are all posts labelled #.
