As a Select Committee of MPs question Michael Prescott and Caroline Daniel, the two former external advisers to the BBC's Standards Committee, it is clear to the Football Is Fixed Network that these issues of inaccuracy at the broadcaster are not only pertinent to the BBC Panorama programme on Trump..

When Daniel states that the Panorama inaccuracy does not undercut broader BBC principles of accuracy we would beg to differ.

Daniel also refers to "an era when trust is very very important" and that "trust is foundational to the BBC."

Daniel additionally suggested that "the BBC did take issues of impartiality and accuracy incredibly seriously."

We would once again beg to differ using the BBC's flagship football show Match Of The Day as an example.

We are in the process of preparing a very detailed analysis of the coverage of Premier League games on Match Of The Day.

In bullet point form, here are some of the areas where significant issues were found.

* Selective editing of match highlights under the control of individuals who have skin in the game

* The editing of commentary to provide misinformation on match highlights

* The adding of scripted commentary post-match once again suiting the interests of a particular insider

* Deliberate manipulations in the assessment of refereeing and VAR decisions in games

* Editing of footage to focus favourably on players linked to Wasserman and Unique agencies

* The creating of fake narratives and images around managers who are being targeted by one key MOTD insider

* The selection of pundits of questionable integrity and inappropriate associations

* The editing out of key match occurrences that didn't suit the narrative being weaved

* Random images of Wasserman clients injured and not even involved in the game

* Selective editing of manager's post-match interviews in manners that make the Panorama programme look virtuous

* The creation of narratives to get certain managers sacked, certain managers appointed and certain players called up to represent England all based on the hidden agendas of one key operator

* When particular players have to be blamed from the Wasserman and Unique agencies, the criticism is always balanced by selective PR entirely unrelated to the incident being addressed

* There's never any addressing of the omnipresence of betting and insider trading impacting on the results of games despite so many clubs having bookies' adverts on their shirts and the pitchside advertising hoardings being a constant inducement to bet and don't even get us started on owners, managers, referees and players insider trading

* Weirdly, agents are hardly ever mentioned on MOTD which is strange considering the power they yield over all aspects of the game

* Newcastle United have 10 regular players represented by Wasserman and Unique while Burnley have seven. Should these structures not be addressed as potential conflicts of interest?

* The Football Is Fixed Network have spoken with one senior editor at MOTD with both a gambling and an alcohol addiction who denied editing of commentary or commentary being added post-match - we have solid evidence that he is lying

* Some people in India have been going through MOTD highlights over the last season and a half timing the coverage of Wasserman clients compared to other players and stratifying such coverage into levels of relevance which reveals that MOTD is simply a promotional advertorial for players from this agency

* One season earlier, we compared MOTD coverage of Klopp and Guardiola via the selection and editing of images, the editing and splicing of post-match interviews, the views expressed by commentators and pundits and the biased assessment of in-play actions - to say that we found manipulated bias would be the understatement of the millennium

* And, most disturbingly, one key insider is involved in an entity that criminalises match outcomes and insider trades on the scams being created and the commentaries on these games act like a cover up parading as truth

They are taking the piss.

Careers are being made and undermined by this biased edited coverage of a reality.

But.

How are these manipulations not spotted in the preparation of the MOTD highlights show?

How are the director, the producer, the editors, the commentators, the summarisers, the techies and the presenter able to be unaware that these shenanigans are taking place right in front of their eyes?

Somebody who seeks truth might consider suggesting that the coverage on MOTD is a conspiracy in favour of a few selective entities.
